What we collect
Your email address for sign-in, the profile details you enter (name, gender, birth date, photos), your post content, favorites, chat messages, verification photos when you submit them, and basic device and usage data needed to run the service.
How we use it
To run your account, show your post to other members, deliver chat messages, verify identities, keep the community safe, answer support requests and improve the app. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Chat messages are delivered through Ably. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider. Verification photos are only seen by our review team and are deleted after review.
Retention and your rights
Posts expire after 30 days unless renewed. You can edit or delete your profile, post and favorites in the app, and request account deletion at support@phriend.app. This policy follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.
