1. Introduction
Phriend is a social activity platform for the Philippines. Members create a profile describing activities they enjoy sharing, such as food trips, city walks, events, photo walks, workouts or language exchange, and other members discover them. Phriend only provides the platform. It does not arrange, manage or guarantee any meetup, and it is not a party to agreements between members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Accounts are created with a verified email address. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
3. Nature of the platform
Phriend has no in-app payments and no booking system. Members coordinate activity details through in-app chat, and conversations must stay related to the chosen activity. Any payment arrangement between members happens outside the platform at their own risk.
4. Acceptable use
Phriend is strictly for lawful, activity-based social interaction. Prostitution, escort or sexual services, compensated dating, harassment, impersonation, fraud, spam, and any illegal activity are prohibited and lead to immediate termination.
5. Prohibited content
No pornographic, sexually explicit or suggestive content, no escort advertising, no solicitation for sexual encounters, and no content that is obscene, hateful or promotes payment for companionship.
6. Safety and prudence
Meet only in public places. Pay 50% at the start and 50% after: on a first meetup hand over the downpayment in cash, in person, and use e-wallets only with repeat Phriends you already trust. Be prudent. If anyone shows up who was not agreed in the chat, do not proceed: cancel, leave and report it from the post or chat screen. Identity verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee about any member.
7. No liability
Phriend is a platform only. It is not a party to any meetup, agreement or payment between members and is not liable for any loss, injury, dispute, unpaid balance, missing refund, damage or harm arising from member interactions, online or offline. You use Phriend at your own risk and you are responsible for your own safety, conduct, taxes and compliance with Philippine law.
8. Changes
